Saudi Arabia ready to invest in economy of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Sept. 13, 2022. / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Ulukbek Maripov met with Deputy Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia Badr bin Ibrahim Al-Badr. The ambassador said that Saudi Arabia is ready to invest in the economy of Kyrgyzstan. In the near future, a working group of the Ministry of Investments of the KSA will visit Kyrgyzstan to get acquainted in detail with the investment potential of the Kyrgyz Republic, with large national projects and other areas of mutual interest. “We agreed on the visit of the working group at a meeting with KSA Deputy Investment Minister Badr bin Ibrahim Al-Badr. We also discussed the upcoming Kyrgyz-Saudi business forum and the creation of a bilateral business council. Our countries have great potential for developing cooperation in energy, agriculture, logistics, tourism and many other areas. Part of the joint projects is already being implemented, and the Saudi side has shown itself to be a reliable partner and investor,” Maripov said.
