Sadyr Zhaparov's congratulations on arrival of holy month of Ramadan

Bishkek, April 13, 2021 . / Kabar / . President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov congratulated Kyrgyzstanis on the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, his press service said on Tuesday. In his address to the nation, the Kyrgyz president said that in the Islamic world, Ramadan is one of the holy months adding that the Koran, the holy book for Muslims, was sent down in this month. “In Ramadan, it is required for every Muslim to fast. Fasting during the month of Ramadan strengthens a Muslim's faith, disciplines him and teaches him to observe the injunctions of the Almighty,” Zhaparov said. He noted that Ramadan is not only a month of health promotion, but also a month of spiritual purification, mercy, forgiveness and abstinence from sins, and it teaches tolerance and toleration. “Fasting during the month of Ramadan strengthens kinship and friendship ties. So in these days we help those in need by performing good deeds. May the Almighty grant each family happiness, prosperity, joy and harmony, and may He bring peace, stability, abundance and development to our country,” the Kyrgyz leader concluded his congratulations.
