Sadyr Zhaparov presents sword to Vladimir Putin

Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2021 / Kabar /. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov told Rossiyskaya Gazeta in an interview that he presented a sword “I have brought a beautiful sword as a gift to Russian President Vladimir Putin. This sword was made by very good craftsmen here in Kyrgyzstan,” Zhaparov said. The head of Kyrgyzstan also spoke about the issues discussed at the meeting with Putin. “We talked about a lot. Basically, about cooperation between our countries in economic terms, about military cooperation and other areas of interaction. We talked about COVID. Russian colleagues gave us a vaccine and promised to provide Kyrgyzstan with additional volumes,” the Kyrgyz president noted. Sadyr Zhaparov made his first foreign visit to the Russian Federation on Feb. 24-25 as the head of state.
