Sadyr Zhaparov to participate in CSTO Summit in Moscow

Bishkek, May 13, 2022 . /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov will attend a summit of CSTO member states in Moscow, Russia to be held on May 16, his spokesman Erbol Sultanbaev said. According to the Kremlin website, the event is timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the Organization. It is planned to discuss key issues of cooperation within the CSTO, topical international and regional problems, as well as measures to further improve the system of collective security. Following the meeting, leaders of the Organization’s member states are expected to sign a CSTO Collective Security Council statement.
