Sadyr Zhaparov familiarizes with activities of Torugart checkpoint in Naryn

Bishkek, June 18, 2021 . / Kabar / . Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov familiarized with the activities of the Torugart checkpoint as part of his working trip to Naryn Oblast of the country, his press service said Friday. The Kyrgyz leader was shown the order of passage of goods, including the work of radiation portal monitoring, automated inspection and examination complex, which allows to provide full scanning of goods in transit in order to eliminate the risks of unaccounted goods. All data on the passing cargo and vehicle is stored in the customs database for 10 years. Today the movement of goods is carried out in accordance with a single algorithm for the movement of goods, including the application of the necessary disinfection measures in conditions of the coronavirus pandemic. At present, the modernization of the checkpoint within Kyrgyzstan's membership in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is continuing, in accordance with which additional hardware and software complexes for customs control will be installed, as well as the final arrangement of the facility. All works are planned to be completed by the end of 2022. Sadyr Zhaparov stressed the improved infrastructure of the checkpoint should fully meet the standards of the EAEU and create the most favorable conditions for vehicles crossing the border. The president instructed to take all necessary measures to develop the infrastructure of the Torugart checkpoint and ensure the smooth operation of automated customs systems in order to eliminate the risk of unauthorized and unrecorded imports of goods.
