Russia sends medical aid to support Syrian health sector in the fight against Coronavirus

Damascus, SANA – The Health Ministry on Friday received a shipment of medical aid from Russia that contains equipment for detecting the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and treating patients suffering from this virus, in addition to protective equipment for medical staff. The first batch of aid includes 50 respirators, around 10,000 COVID-19 test kits, 1,000 multi-use protective suits, and 1,000 single-use protective suits. The second batch containing 150 respirators is scheduled to arrive on April 20th.
