Russia resumes imports of peppers and tomatoes from Kyrgyzstan

Starting from March 5, 2022, Rosselkhoznadzor cancels previously imposed restrictions and resumes import of vegetable products (tomatoes and peppers) from Kyrgyzstan into Russia without taking into account restrictions on producer enterprises. The Agency for Investment and Development of Kyrgyzstan reported that in addition, the Kyrgyz Republic operating in the Mercury system component - Notifications, will be able to import livestock products with no veterinary certificates provided that a preliminary notification is sent through the module with an attached electronic copy of the document. It will be possible to send the original certificates to Rosselkhoznadzor after goods have been received in Russia. The measure applies to all livestock products.
