Russia’s Ryazan Oblast intends to export mechanical engineering and pharmaceutical products to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, April 26, 2022. / Kabar /. The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic hosted a meeting between Deputy Minister Veronika Isaeva and Governor of Ryazan Oblast of the Russian Federation Nikolai Lyubimov, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Commerce of Kyrgyz reported. During the meeting, issues of developing cooperation in the trade and investment, industrial, pharmaceutical, IT sectors of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ryazan region (Russian Federation) were discussed. Ryazan companies expressed their readiness to actively export metalworking, mechanical engineering and pharmaceutical products, conveyor lines of their own production to Kyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyz side noted that the organization of industrial cooperation in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic could become a promising direction. In particular, Isayeva noted the measures taken to protect businesses, reduce barriers for investors, improve legislation and liberalize external and internal regimes. She called on business circles to actively participate in projects carried out on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic. Also, the deputy minister took part in the opening ceremony of the showroom (diversified exhibition exposition) of products of Ryazan manufacturers, on the site of which the products of 57 companies of the region - more than 500 samples goods and developments. According to the statistics of Ryazan Oblast of the Russian Federation, the trade turnover of the Kyrgyz Republic with Ryazan Oblast in 2021 amounted to 6.0 million dollars (export - 93%, import - 7%), an increase of 25% compared to 2020.
