Royal Guard Special Force Commander visits BDF troops at Saudi-Yemeni borders

Manama, June 19 (BNA): The Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa arrived in Jazan, Saudi Arabia, on a visit to BDF personnel deployed at the southern borders of Saudi Arabia. He was welcomed on arrival at King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Airport by Commander of Jazan Force Major General Marei Salim Al Shahrani and senior military officials. Major Shaikh Khalid visited a number of military locations of the BDF troops and conveyed to them the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and congratulations on the Holy month of Ramadan. He stressed that Bahrain's participation in Restore Hope Operation is an unwavering proof of the kingdom's unflinching stance towards the Yemeni issue and an assertion of strong and deep-rooted historic brotherly relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. He added that security of Saudi Arabia is part of Bahrain's security and no effort will be spared in protecting its borders. Major Shaikh Khalid wished Saudi Arabia continuous growth and prosperity under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
