Royal Court Minister congratulates Speaker

Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): Minister of the Royal Court Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Speaker Fouzia Abdullah Zainal on her election as Speaker of the Council of Representatives for the First Session in the Fifth Legislative Term, wishing her success along with all the other lawmakers in their legislative and monitoring role. The minister praised the Bahraini women’s achievements that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s support to empowering women in order to contribute their fair share in national progress. Shaikh Khalid also sent two cables of congratulations to Abdulnabi Salman and Ali Zayed on their election as first and second deputy Speakers, wishing them success along all the other MPs in their legislative and monitoring role in the interest of the Kingdom of Bahrain progress and citizens’ welfare.
