ROTA Gala Dinner Raises $13 Million

Doha, December 13 (QNA) - Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) announced that its fourth Gala Dinner held at Katara Cultural Village yesterday managed to raise $13 million. Raised funds will support ROTA's continuous programs in Asia, the Middle East and Qatar and will launch new projects in countries ROTA works in. ROTA Director Essa Al Mannai said that enthusiasm and generosity of the event's guests show that charity and giving are present all over the world through many positive and efficient ways. ROTA thanked its guests of VIPs, starts and celebrities in addition to sponsors, volunteers and officials who helped make the event a great success. Fourth ROTA Gala Dinner was attended by some 500 dignitaries in a special night featuring a reception ceremony, speeches, presentations as well as a prestigious dinner followed by a charity auction that raised a huge sum to be used in supporting educational and social ROTA projects in Qatar and abroad.
