Resolve, persistence stressed

Manama, Nov 23 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today received Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh and a number of members of both councils. Former Council of Representatives Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani and senior Bahraini officials were also present. HRH Prime Minister underlined the development and growth Bahrain undergoing in the prosperous era of HM the King. He urged all officials to be well prepared for the implementation of the government strategy for the benefit of the citizens. HRH Prime Minister, in response to a number of issues related to the government services were told by the attendees, emphasized that clear directives issued by the government to the ministries and government agencies on following up the work progress and to commit to the timetables for the development programs and service projects implemented to meet the requirements of citizens. HRH Prime Minister pointed out the need for resolve and persistence to take on the economic challenges and to invest available opportunities to strengthen the development process witnessed by the country. He said that Bahrain has accomplished a series of development projects, chiefly the development of the citizen, as the government's top priority. He noted the government's vision which has laid a solid foundation for strengthening cooperation between the executive and legislative branches for serving national goals.
