Rental collections of state cinemas in Kyrgyzstan reach KGS 1.6 mln

Bishkek, July 27, 2022. /Kabar/. In six months of 2022, the rental collections of state cinemas was KGS 1 million 653 thousand 500, the Ministry of Culture of Kyrgyzstan reported Tuesday. The thematic plan of the National Film Studio and Kyrgyz Film named after Okeyev provides creation of 2 feature films and 3 short feature ones, 2 full-length documentaries and 7 short documentaries on socially significant topics. The plan also included two animated films and two full-length co-productions. Full-length documentaries Outstanding Girls of Kyrgyzstan and Samat Sadykov were accepted. During the first half of the year, the state oblast and regional cinema administrations screened 6,607 films for 114,700 viewers. Gross collection of state cinemas was KGS 1 million 653 thousand 500.
