RCO delegation attends Orphan Day in Egypt

Cairo, Apr5(BNA) A delegation representing the Royal Charity organization (RCO) attended the festivities which marked the Arab Orphan Day in Egypt. Dar Alorman Charity Society organized the event which was attended by Arab League Deputy Secretary-General Ahmed bin Hilli, ministers, media figures, artists and delegations representing Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Kuwait. The RCO delegation included Senior Media Specialist Eman Abdurrazaq Al-Khaja and Social Specialist Dalal Ali. Al-Khaja addressed a press conference held on this occasion, paying tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa for caring for widows and orphans. She stressed the crucial role of the charity foundation, led by board of Trustees' Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, in supporting needy families and promoting humanitarian work. The RCO delegation attended a mass wedding held at Dream Park, during which 156 orphan brides married. They were also updated on the role of Dar Alorman Charity Society in caring for the orphans and widows and reaching out to needy people.
