RC First Deputy Speaker receives Pakistani delegation

Manama, May 7 (BNA)-- Representatives Council First Deputy Speaker Abdullah bin Khalaf Al Dussari received in his office today a high-profile Pakistani delegation led by members of Pakistan National Congress Senators Mohammed Talha Mahmood and Mulana Sayed Hidayatullah. Senator Mohammed Talha underlined his country's support to Bahrain in its efforts to ensure security, stability and growth. He said Pakistan, like many other countries, has become aware of the plots woven against Bahrain to undermine its security and stability and destabilise the whole region. He hailed the Pakistani-Bahraini parliamentary cooperation, lauding strong ties binding both countries and the outcome of the recent visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to Pakistan. MP Al Dussari welcomed the Pakistani delegation, which also comprised a number of businessmen, stressing Bahrain's keenness to bolster bilateral relations and cooperation and praising the role of the Pakistani community in Bahrain.
