Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority Reviews with QCCI Investment Opportunities in the Emirate

Doha, March 21 (QNA) - Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) organized, in conjuction with Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority, a seminar to explore investment opportunities, advantages and facilities offered by Al-Khaimah for investors from Gulf States and the world. Vice Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Towar Al Kuwari said in a speech at the seminar, which was held last night, the chamber supports and encourages such occasions, adding that Ras Al Khaimah offers distinguished projects that will attract Qatari and other investors. He explained that it offered investment opportunities in various fields including industry, real estate and tourism, referring in this respect to the facilities the Emirate provides investing companies. For his part, Director-General of Marketing and Promotion at Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority Alex Thomas reviewed the available investment opportunities and advantages of investing in different areas such as industry, tourism and entertainment and real estate in the emirate. He praised the easy procedures for the establishment of companies there. He said Ras Al Khaimah is characterized by an attractive investment environment and enjoys political stability, referring to the quality of infrastructure and the ease procedures for manpower. He also hailed the good economic performance of the emirate, which includes sizeable volumes of energy and oil as well as the privileged position of the emirate and the encouraging investment policies. Ras Al-Khaimah Investment Authority was established in 2005 to develop investment. It established two industrial zones and registered more than 10 thousand companies, half of them local. (QNA)
