RAF to Hold Forum on Humanitarian Work

Doha, March 30 (QNA) - Sheikh Thani Bin Abdullah Foundation for Human Services (RAF) will hold tomorrow a forum for humanitarian work at the Regency Hotel. A number of directors of charities and humanitarian organizations from 70 countries will participate. The forum is held under the patronage of Chairman of Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah. The forum's mission is to work on achieving the international standards for success in the work of humanitarian and charity organizations. General Director Head of the Board of Trustees of RAF Ayed Al-Qahtani said that humanitarian work has become one of the pillars of the development of any society. He added that the level of humanitarian work in a given country is a reflection of its own advancement. Especially that humanitarian work advances the basics of social development in society. (QNA)
