QSL Celebrates 2012-13 Conclusion

Doha, May 07 (QNA) - Qatar Stars League (QSL) has on Tuesday celebrated the conclusion of the 2012-13 season, which ended Saturday as Lekhwiya won HH Heir Apparent Cup title for the first time. The ceremony was attended by QSL Deputy CEO Hani Ballan, and board members Nasser Al-Hetmi, Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Buainain and Jassim Al Romaihi, in addition to Chief of Commercial Abdulrahman Al Dosari, and a number of former executives and incumbent heads of departments and officials. Speaking at the ceremony, Ballan hailed the efforts of QSL officials, which saw the organization develop over the past few years, expressing satisfaction at the progress of the different departments from a year to another. He added that QSL will see more developments in the upcoming phase in order to go in line with the ongoing sports advances in Qatar, where several sporting events were successfully organized. Ballan also honored outstanding officials through the current season as well as former officials and others who spent more than five years at QSL. (QNA)
