QNA Training Course on Facilitating Information Exchange Kicks Off

Doha, January 07 (QNA) - A training course on facilitating the exchange of information between media institutions kicked off in Qatar News Agency (QNA) on Monday, in the course of a series of training courses organized by the Media Relations Department at QNA for the rehabilitation of cadres working in the media field. Trainees from government institutions and a number of QNA staff are taking part in the training. The three-day course will focus on the importance of the exchange of information published by the international, regional and local news agencies, and how to exchange it on an international scale to become a circulating substance in the rest of media organizations - TV channels, newspapers, radio stations and websites. The course will also highlight the international news agency which control the news in the world, and how to deal, classify and identify the nature and the importance of the vast amount of news, photos and information flowing from these agencies; and how to reformulate these news according to an Arab perspective and a vision that respect the professional standards. The training courses, organized continuously by QNA, come in implementation to the Emiri decision NO. (51) of 2009, which entrusted QNA with the task of providing continuous media training to Qatari media persons in order to improve their performance through ongoing training and development programs.
