QNA Organizes Training Courses on Techniques of Press Interviews and Dealing Skills with VIP

Doha, February 03 (QNA) - Qatar News Agency (QNA) is to organize a training course tomorrow, Monday, under the title," Techniques of Press Interviews and Dealing Skills with VIP". The course is part of a series of similar training courses QNA's Media Relations Department is organizing at QNA building to rehabilitate the Qatari cadres working in the media field. About 20 trainees from all governmental organs together with a number of QNA employees will attend the three-day event which aims to get acquainted with mechanism of how to deal with the media medias and art of conducting press interviews with VIP via the audio-visual and written channels. Mohamed kamel el-sa'adi, a specialist in media field will give lectures to the course attendants. Al-Sa'adi is specialized in media field and holds a bachelor's degree in media and a master's degree in democracy and human rights and a member of the Organization for foreign reporters. It is worth to mention that QNA is organizing such trainings based on its important role, in accordance with the Emiri Decree No./51/ of 2009, to help Qatari professionals use the latest technologies in digital publishing environment and improve their skills and working methods. This workshop is one of much successful and useful training that attract increasing numbers of applicants. Such workshops target primarily Qatari professionals and are free of charge for both public and private sectors delegates," Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Thani, the assistant director of media relations, QNA, said. In line with its mission to empower Qatari media, Qatar News Agency (QNA) organized a technical workshop from 10 to 12 September 2012 at its premises in Doha on 'The Latest Digital Publishing Technologies' targeting Qatari professionals working in digital publishing and broadcasting in media companies and ministries. The workshop aims to get Qatari media professionals acquainted to the challenges and solutions to their operations and workflows in terms of news management systems including receiving, editing, tagging and publishing content packages in text, photo, video and XML formats on multiple platforms as well as Facebook and Twitter.
