QNA To Hold A Training Session On Creating E-Magazines
Doha, June 27 (QNA) - Qatar News Agency will hold a training session on how to create online magazines under the title "Creating E-Magazines" for Qatari Media personnel from 9-11 July in line with the series of the training sessions the QNA s public relations department arranges to produce highly-qualified Qatari Media cadres.
The three-day training session aims at honing the trainees skills at producing electronic news bulletins, creating online magazines, information gathering for a magazine's website .
Taking place at QNA's premises, the session will comprise theoretical and practical drills on how to create an introduction for an online news bulletin, the framing of an E-magazine, and how to launch it on a website.
The training session will be led by Mohammad Ali Al Mulla, the director of system development at the ministry of foreign affairs, who is also the director of the ministry s newly-launched website and in charge of Qatar embassies websites.
QNA Media Relations Head Ahmed Mohammed Al Boainin said the training session comes in line with the Emiri Decree No. 51 for the year 2009 which entrusted QNA with providing continuous media training programs for Qatari media executives to develop their skills and enhance them on a professional level.
He said the agency s role as a leading media institution pioneering with the development of Qatari calibers in the vital media and public relations fields.
Al Boainin added that the session comes following a successful series of training sessions.
He said the QNA s training session agenda for year 2012-2013 will have a wide array of training sessions on News editing, Editing children's news bulletin, Editing news features for Women, Children and individuals with Special needs, News translation, as well a training session on facilitating collaboration between media bodies.
