QNA Director General Elected New President of FANA

Doha , November 21 (QNA) - Qatar News Agency (QNA) Director General Ahmed Saad Al Buanain was elected Monday President of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) for the next two year term according to the federation's regulations. Al Buanain succeeded Editor-in-Chief of Egypt's Middle East News Agency (MENA) Adel Abdulaziz during a panel session held here today afternoon, as part of the 39th session of the Federation's General Assembly. Al Buanain expressed his delight that the State of Qatar will take over Presidency of the FANA , praising meatime the efforts the federation for Arab News Agencies made during the past period. (QNA)
