QMA Holds Health Fair in Partnership with ExxonMobil and HMC

Doha, January 19 (QNA) - Qatar Museums Authority organized in partnership with ExxonMobil and Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) a health fair for employees and their families on Saturday. HMC provided subject matter experts in the areas of health, medicine and wellness, and the Four Seasons will host the event at its West Bay hotel. Employees of all four sponsoring organizations and their families were invited to attend. "Along with the leaders of Qatar, we recognize the importance of healthy and active residents," said Sharoq Al Malki, Chief Human Capital Officer of Qatar Museums Authority. "This event is a way for us to put our commitment to our employees' health and wellbeing into action. We are extremely grateful to our partners ExxonMobil, Hamad Medical Corporation, and Four Seasons Hotel for helping us execute such a valuable initiative." The fair would not have been possible without the support of HMC, providing a staff of doctors, nurses and expert practitioners in various medical fields. With more than 20 booths, participants will benefit from free health checks and workshops on first aid, CPR, healthy lifestyle habits, nutrition, diabetes and other topics. "By helping local organizations host health awareness fairs, we are able to give the people in Qatar the knowledge they need to lead healthier, more productive lives which ultimately contributes to the overall well-being of the State of Qatar," said Dr Khalid Abdulnoor Saifeldeen, Director of HMC's International Training Centre.
