QCCI, Labour Ministry Agree to Form A Committee Representing Labour Recrutiment Offices
Doha, February 05 (QNA) -Representatives of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) and the ministry of labour met here on Tuesday to discuss a set of issues related to regulating and controlling the labour recruitment offices operating in the state .A number of personnel in charge of these offices attended the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, Ali Bin Abdul Latif Al-Misnad, the honarary secretary who is also the QCCI's board member said the labour recruitment offices are playing an important role in upgrading the recruitment offices in a manner that copes with growth and development the Qatari economy is mitnessing ... "Thus we have to provide ample opportunity to express their concerns and problems through forming a relevant subcommittee in the QCCI", said Ali Bin Abdul Latif Al-Misnad.
' All offices should agree on those who represent them in such a subcommittee to standardize the party expressing those recrutiment offices to be a liaison between the QCCI and the ministry and the related organs", said the honarary secretary who is also the QCCI's board member .
Addressing the meeting, Faris Al-Ka'abi, the head of recruitment offices at the Ministry of Labour stressed the need for concerted efforts to improve the quality of recruitment offices, especially in view of the fact that the state is now witnessing a large turnout in the field of foreign investment, which requires rationing recruitment process properly to reach the aspired goals.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides agreed to call for holding an expanded meeting with the participation of the recruitment offices and to be held under the sponsorship of Qatar Chamber at the end of this month to choose the members of the committee representing the recruitment offices and defining their functions and roles .(QNA)
