QC Launches Relief Campaign in Syria, Yemen

Doha, November 23 (QNA) - Qatar Charity (QC) on Wednesday launched a QR 37 million relief campaign aimed at providing urgent relief to the victims of the events in Syria and Yemen. The program provides thousands of Yemeni families and Syrian refugees in Jordan, Lebanon and Turkey with supplies, food, temporary shelter materials, hygiene kits, and medical assistance besides a psychological support program. The campaign, scheduled to start on Thursday, comes in the framework of the social solidarity among the Arab nation, QC Executive director for International Development, Jassim Bin Salem told a press conference today. He urged Qatari citizens and residents to respond to the QC appeal. Financial contributions for the campaign are received through QC headquarters, its branches within the State, its collectors in commercial complexes/malls and its banks accounts, explained Bin Salem.
