QC Implements Development Projects in Mali

Doha, August 21 (QNA) -The Qatar Charity (QC) has implemented a wide range of development projects during the first quarter of this year for the benefit of the poor and low-income families in Mali. According to a QC's news report, the projects include building of mosques, housing units, health and educational centers and a set of Income Generating Projects (IGPs) in addition to water and sanitation projects. In this context, QC has distributed financial assistance including motorcycles for transportation of goods, sewing machines and sheep and cows for farmers and poor families in Bamako and Koulikoro in order to help them to improve their living standards. QC ,in cooperation with its partners in Mali built 10 mosques in the areas of Mopti, Sikasso, Sigou, Bamako and Koulikoro in addition to 15 housing units in Koulikoro, a health center in Bamako and an educational center in Sigou region, according to the report.
