Qatar's GAC Celebrates World Customs Day Jan 26th

Doha, January 25 (QNA) - Qatar's General Administration of Customs (GAC) celebrates on Thursday the International Customs Day under this year under the slogan "Borders divide, Customs connects. The event slated for the 26th of January every year. The General Administration of Customs holds a number of events to mark this year's celebration, including the Organisation of an exhibition in Landmark aimed at informing the public about the achievements made by the General Administration of Customs. A number of veterans and excellent employees will as well be honored on the sidelines of the celebration, GAC said in a press statement today. This year's theme will provide the Customs Department with an opportunity to consider its policies dealing with administration and promote their initiatives in strengthening competencies and at the same time, try to encourage research.
