Qatar's Embassy in Morocco Celebrates Sports Day

Rabat, February 14 (QNA) - Qatar's embassy in Morocco has celebrated the National Sports Day with the participation of HE Qatar's Ambassador to Morocco Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Turki Al Subaie along with members of the mission and the embassy staff. Al Subaie said the National Sports Day goes in line with the Qatar National Strategy 2030's health objectives, which aim to create a strong and healthy society, promote public health, and encourage healthy lifestyles. He added that the sports day initiative is a unique addition to Qatar's role as a distinguished pioneer in sports events, which qualified it to play host to several sports gatherings, notably its successful bid to host the 2022 World Cup. HE the ambassador noted that this celebrating does not only reflect the country's keenness on the health of citizens and residents but also speaks to the highlighting of sport as a set of values that call for participation and fair competition between individuals and peoples.
