Qatar's Embassies in Kazakhstan, Kenya Celebrate National Sports Day

Astana, February 13 (QNA) -The Qatari Embassy in Kazakhstan today organized a sports event celebrating the National Sports Day of the State of Qatar with participation of the Embassy's staff in presence of HE the Acting Charge de Affairs Abdullah Mohamed Al-Sayed. The Activities organized by the embassy included ice skiing as the temperature was below 17 sub-zero degrees. HE Mohamed Abdullah Al-Sayed said that the embassy is always keen to participate in all the national and sports events organized in Qatar. The Qatari Embassy in the Kenyan capital Nairobi also celebrated the National Sports Day by organizing several activities. HE Qatar's Ambassador to Kenya Ibrahim Mohamed Al-Abdullah hailed, in a speech on this occasion, Qatar's attention to sports events, and to people with special needs, elders, women and children. He stressed the importance of sports in the people lives and in maintaining physical and mental health. (QNA)
