Qatar's Education System Made Huge Strides in Past Decade, HE Minister Says

Doha, July 07 (QNA) - HE Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council Mohammed Abdul Wahed Ali Al Hammadi said Sunday that education in Qatar made huge strides in the past decade in terms of development plans, method, syllabi and the independent schools system. HE the Minister told reporters today after attending a ceremony in which the Public Works Authority Ashghal announced the start of construction work on 44 educational institutions for all age groups, that the student will remain the hub of the educational process in Qatar. HE the Minister noted that the new projects, announced today, will help boost the educational system in the State of Qatar particularly in terms of outputs enjoying the required efficiency in line with the criteria set by the educational plans, in addition to the provision of the appropriate educational environment in adequate classrooms and the facing of challenges and removal of problems in order to upgrade the quality of education.
