Qatar's Economic Expertise Presented in Global Services Forum

Beijing ,May 28 (QNA) -HE Qatari Minister of Culture , Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari who is also Head of the 13th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD XIII), on Tuesday displayed Qatar's economic and development expertise before the Global Services Forum , now in progress in the Chinese capital. The Global Services Forum ,organized in Beijing by the UNCTAD,in cooperation with the People's Republic of China . In his speech at the high-level ranks 4th opening session of the Global Services Forum, the UNCTAD president stressed the necessity of creating partnerships as part of the creative services sector and consolidating them further, indicating that this forum represents a unique platform to exchange views and experiences in a way to develop the services' sectors and trade's services across the world. HE the Minister of Culture has tackled means of promoting the services sector through making partnerships with the creative services sector in order to support the comprehensive and sustainable development in addition to eradicate poverty and improving the living conditions of the people through Qatar's experience in the development and economy. Elaborating Al Kuwari further said that Qatar had witnessed a tremendous economic growth in the recent decades by achieving a GDP which is stimulated by production of oil and gas and its exports. In light of wise leadership of HH Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, the living conditions of the Qatari citizens are always improving , the matter which ensures the future generations to further benefit from the economic , social, cultural and environmental development. HE the Minister of Culture , Arts and Heritage arrived here earlier Monday on a visit to China to participate in the Global Services Forum which began in Beijing today.(QNA)
