Qatar's Ambassador To Korea Addresses First Arab Gulf-Korean Forum

Seoul, June 11 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Ali Bin Hamad Al Merri , who is also president of the Arab-Korean society and doyen of the Arab diplomatic corps in S.Korea , on Tuesday delivered the keynote opening speech before the first Gulf-korean forum. In the opening speech he delivered on behalf of the GCC ambassadors to S.Korea , HE Al Merri reviewed the progress of the Gulf -Korean relations in the trade and investment areas stressing the forum will be a significant and positive qualitative leap for strengthening and cementing relations between the Gulf and Korean sides. The forum was organised by S.Korea under the supervision of the South Korea International Trade Commission and the Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce and Industry. The event was attended by a large number of representatives of the grand Korean corporations and the trading federations along with other GCC businessmen. For his part, the President of South Korea International Trade Commission, Ahen Hyun Hu, opened here earlier today the pavilion of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States participating in South Korean Products Exhibition 2013. The two-day Exhibition is being held on the sidelines of GCC Investment Forum currently in progress in South Korea. (QNA)
