Qatari Prime Minister Joint Press Conference

Varna, Bulgaria, May 18 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani has welcomed the tripartite meeting Friday that brought him with Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borisov, and Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, noting that "It is a good idea to work together". In a joint news conference after the meeting, HE the Premier and Foreign Minister said that the meeting discussed the situation in Syria, noting that "the United Nations should set a timeframe to put an end to what was going on in Syria and do something in this regard in order to prevent more killing of civilians." The Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan said the tripartite meeting discussed the situation in Syria, stressing that more than 10,000 people have died so far stressing : "We cannot stand without the indifference towards this humanitarian crisis." Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria said the meeting also discussed the possible ways to strengthen relations between the three countries through joint infrastructure projects, including the highway, which connects Bulgaria and Turkey to facilitates the process of obtaining energy resources from a variety of sources. He said that his country enjoys good relations with Russia, which has also good relations with Arab countries, stressing that Bulgaria has the potential to work in all projects that have been discussed with the State of Qatar and Turkey.(QNA)
