Qatari Premier Discusses Syrian Crisis with UN Chief

New York, April 22 (QNA) - Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani has discussed with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the latest developments in Syria, and the steps that could be taken by the United Nations in addressing the humanitarian consequences of the crisis in Syria. The meeting was attended by the Arab League Secretary General Dr. Nabil El Araby. The meeting reviewed the resolutions of the Arab summit which was held in Doha recently , including the welcome and recognition of the National Coalition and the forces of the revolution of the Syrian opposition and ways of providing support and assistance to the coalition as well as the latest developments in Syria in light of the ongoing killing by the Syrian regime against its people and the use of various kinds of weapons, including Scud missiles and chemical weapons of in order to cling to power against the will of the Syrian people.(QNA)
