Qatari Cabinet Welcomes Conclusions of UN Fact-Finding Mission's Report on Israeli Settlements

Doha , February 06 (QNA) - HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah al Mahmoud chaired Wednesday the cabinet's ordinary weekly meeting held at its Emiri Diwan premises. The cabinet welcomed the conclusions of UN Fact-Finding Mission's report on Israeli settlements which called on Israeli to withdraw their settlers immediately from the West Bank and put an end to their illegal settlement activities. The Qatari cabinet said that the report's inclusion of Israel's crimes and illegitimate acts on Palestinian land was a step towards acknowledging the full rights of the Palestinian people, starting with the right to an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital. The cabinet called upon Israel to comply with the resolutions of the UN fact-finding and dismantle the illegal settlements on the Arab land. These resolutions also called on Israel to end its illegal settlement activity all together and called on the UN Security Council to sanction Israel if it did not comply with the resolutions of the fact-finding mission.
