Qatari-Afghani Talks

Doha, March 31 (QNA) - A session of talks was at the Emiri Diwan before noon today between the State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan under to co-chairmanship of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and Afghani President Hamid Karzai. The session was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and a number of ministers. On the Afghani side it was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying President Karzai. Talks during the session dealt with relations between the two countries and means of developing them, as well as prospects of peace in Afghanistan. Afterwards, HH the Emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Afghani President and his accompanying delegation. (QNA)
