Qatar,Bulgaria Sign MoU in Business Sector

Doha, March 14 (QNA) - The Board of Directors' Deputy Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) Mohamed Bin Ahmed Bin Tuwar Al Kuwari signed here on Wednesday with Ognyan Donev , the chairman of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists In Bulgaria (CEIBG) Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) here on Wednesday night dealing with enhancing ties of cooperation between the business sector in the two countries. Addressing a meeting attended by the Qatari Businessmen and their Bulgarian peers , Bin Tuwar Al Kuwari said the presence of HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jabor Al Thani and his Bulgarian counterpart has given a strong and additional impetus to the businessmen of the two sides to enhance joint trade cooperation. The QCCI belives in the significance of convening such encounters that brings together representatives of the two countries and their institutions under one umbrella for dialogue with a view to creating investment opportunities that achieve joint benefit to the nationl economy of the two countries. ''Thanks to the wise policies of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani including the overal development strategy the state has adopted to bring qatar to the climax of the developed countries by the year 2030 , the State Of Qatar has become in the lead of the foreign investment attracting countries'', said the QCCI's Board of Directors' Deputy Chairman. Elaborating Bin Tuwar said this requires the development of infrastructure and the establishment of mega-projects through the large budgets that are announced annually by the state and which attract many international companies to work within the State of Qatar for the implementation of these projects. He further said that the qatari businessmen have the real desire for studying the outstanding investment opportunities available in Bulgaria noting that such a joint meeting would allow exploring these opportunities and expressed the QCCI's complete readiness to offer whatever support to both sides to bring about a successful investment climate in both countries.(QNA)
