Qatar Women Sport Committee Celebrates Sports Day

Doha, February 12 (QNA) - Qatar Women's Sport Committee on Tuesday celebrated the National Sports Day amid wide participation of women, girls, people with disabilities, board members of the committee, along with players and managers of the committee's sports teams. Held at Aspire Zone under the theme of "Sports Forever," the event saw several companies, private and government institutions take part, including platinum sponsor Seashore group. The celebration featured football, handball, volleyball, basketball, boxing and table tennis games, while the Qatar Taekwondo Federation gave a performance. Children had their share in the event, with an athletics show, in addition to yoga, aerobics, exercise, music, trampoline and other games. The committee and sponsor companies rewarded participants with giveaways as the event came to an end. (QNA)
