Qatar, US Sign MoU on Travel, Training

Washington, June 04 (QNA) - Qatar and the United States on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate travel to the US in addition to training and exchange of information. HE Minister of State for Interior Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani signed the MoU on behalf of Qatar while US Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano signed for her country. The agreement comes during HE the minister's official visit to the United States. HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also met with the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Robert Mueller. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between the two countries and discussed issues of mutual concern. (QNA)
