Qatar, Sudan Hold Talks

Doha, July 31 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani held a session of talks with Sudan's President Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir here this evening at Al Wajba Palace. The two sides discussed bilateral ties and the means to enhance them in various fields, and reviewed the latest regional and international developments, especially the situation in Darfur. The talks were attended by HE Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani and a number of their Excellencies ministers. On the Sudanese sides, the talks were attended by a number of the members of the delegation accompanying the Sudanese President. HH the Emir hosted an Iftar banquet in honor of the Sudanese President and his accompanying delegation. (QNA)
