Qatar Provides Humanitarian Aid for Syrian Refugees

Beirut , August 01 (QNA) - Upon the directives of HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar is to provide humanitarian aid to the Syrian refugees in Lebanon throughout the holy month of Ramadan including daily 40000 Iftar meals . Qatar set up two Ramadan Iftar tables in the North and East of Lebanon to serve the Syrian refugees and the Lebanese families alike. The tables are set up in a number of areas including Akkar and Tripoli. The Iftar meals will cater some 5000 Syrian families that were displaced from Aleppo among other places. The State of Qatar also provides medicine and health care for the refugees in the area. Qatar will also send 100000 piece of cloth starting next week to enable the families to celebrate Eid. (QNA)
