Qatar News Agency Organizes Workshop on the Occasion of World Press Freedom Day

Doha, May 02 (QNA) - On the occasion of Qatar News Agency (QNA) issuing of a printed bulletin prepared by QNA Kids Website to mark the Global Journalism Day, the site organized this morning at QNA headquarters a workshop attended by students and supervisors from several schools, representatives of media education programmes of the Doha Centre for Media Freedom, and a number of representatives of local press and media, in addition to the site correspondents who conducted interviews and edited the bulletin topics. The 'Young Correspondents' spoke about their experiences, and situations they faced while conducting the interviews which contributed to equipping them with new experiences. They also sent invitations to their fellow students to opt for the press work and to join the initiative of the "Young Reporter", launched by the site. Copies of the bulletin were distributed to participants from schools and the media and copies were also sent to other schools and social and educational institutions concerned with children as well as government departments.
