Qatar Ministry of Municipality Celebrates Sports Day

Doha, February 12 (QNA) - The Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning on Tuesday celebrated the National Sports Day at Rumeilah Park in the presence of Assistant Undersecretary for Planning Affairs Ali Abdulla Al Abdulla along with a group of employees and their families. The event featured a number of sports and games such as basketball and arrow throwing in addition to artistic and entertainment segments such as patriotic and children songs and magic shows. Physical strength games, which were set up by the ministry's public parks department at several points at the Corniche, were a point of interest for a lot of Sports Day participants. Around 15 public parks in Doha held Sports Day-related events organized by ministries, corporations and companies, in coordination with the Doha Municipality's Public Parks Department. (QNA)
