Qatar Minister of Business and Trade Meet Finland's Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade

Doha, March 04 (QNA) -HE the Minister of Business and Commerce Sheikh Jassim bin Abdulaziz Al Thani met here today with Finland's Minister for European Affairs and Foreign Trade Alexander Stubb. During the meeting they exchanged views and discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries, especially in economic and trade fields as well a number of issues of common concern. The State of Qatar and the Republic of Finland have earlier signed an agreement to encourage and protect mutual investments and another on economic, trade and technical cooperation. The volume of trade exchange between the two countries in 2011 reached about QAR 260 million while the value of Qatari exports to Finland totaled QAR 44.5 million with the value of imports for the same period totaling QAR 216 million.(QNA)
