Qatar, Libya Hold Talks

Doha, January 14 (QNA) - Prime Minister and Foreign Minister HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani held official talks this evening with Libya's Prime Minister Dr. Ali Zeidan Mohammad. During the meeting, they reviewed ties between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields. For his part, the Libyan Premier praised the role exerted by the State of Qatar during the Libyan revolution and its help to the Libyan people, commending Qatar's support to the revolution till the Libyan people can establish and reconstruct its country and ensure its security and stability. He expressed his pleasure for his first visit to the State of Qatar, hoping that the visit will contribute to closer cooperation between the two countries and their peoples in various fields. The talks were attended by a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers. On the Libyan side, the talks were attended by Ministers, members of the official delegation accompanying the Libyan Premier. Later, HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister hosted a dinner banquet in honour of the Libyan Prime Minister.(QNA)
