Qatar, Kenya Sign an Agreement on Regulating Use of Kenyan Labourers in Qatar

Doha, March 05 (QNA) - The State of Qatar and the Republic of Kenya on Monday signed an agreement on regulating the use of kenyan labourers in Qatar. The agreement was signed for Qatar by HE Minister of social Affairs Nasser Bin Abdullah Al-Hemaidi who is also Acting Labour Minister while it was signed for Kenya by Minister of Labour John Kiyonga Munyes who is currently visiting Doha. The two sides reviewed on the sidelines of the signing ceremony ties of joint cooperation and means of boosting them with emphasis on the labour and labourers domains. A set of other issues of mutual concern was also taken up. In a related development, some representatives of the Labour Ministry discussed with a Gambian delegation , now visiting Doha , a set of issues relating to labour and labourers. (QNA)
