Qatar Juniors Lose to Their Italian Counterparts

Rome, August 20 (QNA) - The Qatar Under-16 lost to their Italian counterparts 3-0 on Monday in a friendly game that was scheduled to give 'Al Anabi' match practice ahead of key events. Qatar juniors are preparing for the AFC Youth qualifying matches to be held in October. "The Qatar players got good match practice," an official said after the match. "We are seeking to give maximum match practice opportunities to all players," he added. "We can see that the players are improving their fitness," the official said. The Qatar squad will return to Doha coming Friday. (QNA)
