Qatar Interior Ministry and British Academy Train 21 Officers
Doha, June 10 (QNA) - Twenty-one officers from the Airport Passports Department took a training course on enhancing public interface skills, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said.
The 12-day course which boosted the officers interpersonal skills on how to deal with the public was conducted by the MoI in association with the British International Academy was held from May 27 to June 7 at the Police Training Institute.
The course, part of the MoI's ambitious training plans for its staff, was aimed at imparting the learners with necessary skills to
provide excellent services and dealing in the best way with the public as the airport the first gate to the country.
The attendees heard lectures on duties and responsibilities of line officers at the airport, communication skills with other people, public
satisfaction, how to analyze the types of passengers and how to deal with them, the reasons and ways to handle disgruntled travellers and the
development of passenger service system, the MoI said. (QNA)
