Qatar Hajj Committee Launches New Website
Doha , June 24 (QNA) - The Hajj (Pilgrimage) Affairs Committee of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs launched Sunday its new website on the internet, which will allow citizens and expatriates alike to register for Hajj.
There are a number of Hajj-related services that the new website will offer such as registration and following up with the Hajj request. The website also provides a map to its premises and the certified Hajj trips.
Deputy Chairman of the Committee Nasser Al Sulaiti said that the target from establishing the new website was to provide all the information the users could need about the Hajj season. He said that users can register in the first 20 days for Qatari citizens, and the first 10 days for expatriates, of Ramadan and stressed that the applicants must make sure they enter their correct information in order not to get disqualified.
He said that the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have an agreement to receive 1500 people for Hajj this year. (QNA)
