Qatar, Greece Hold Official Talks

Doha, January 29 (QNA) - Qatar and Greece held here today a session of official talks, chaired by Prime Minister and Foreign Minister HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani, and the Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and ways of developing them in various fields, especially in investment and economic areas , and discussed issues of common concern. Then, HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and the Prime Minister of Greece witnessed the signing of an agreement for cooperation in the cultural field, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of sports between the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) and the Greek Olympic Committee, and a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Qatar Holding Company and the Greek government. The talks were attended by Their Excellencies Ministers. On the Greek side, the meeting was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying . Later, HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister hosted a dinner banquet in honor of the Greek Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation.(QNA)
